Service Technician - All Levels - Brand New State of the Art Service Department (Heated/Cooled shop with all new lifts and equipment)

- Entry‑Level Service Technician
- Experienced Service Technician
- Heavy Line Technician
- Transmission Technician
- Master Service Technician
Service Technician Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.
- Test‑drive vehicles, test components and systems, and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air‑conditioning.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisors and Service Manager so that customers are informed if any additional service or repairs are needed, and provide an estimate of time required for additional repairs.
- Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- Some experience at a service department
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand‑eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, with a customer‑service mentality
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Team player with effective communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
- Able to understand electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license
