Job summary

Benchmark Companies is seeking an experienced Lowboy Driver in Christiana, Tennessee, who will be responsible for safely transporting oversized construction equipment to and from job sites across the region. You will operate a lowboy/RGN trailer and perform inspections, load securement, and communicate with site supervisors.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, a minimum of 3 years of lowboy/heavy haul experience, and strong attention to detail. Health insurance and a 401(k) matching plan are included in the benefit package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years lowboy/heavy haul experience.
• Physically able to climb, chain, and secure loads independently.
• Experience with RGN, drop-deck, and stretch trailers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a lowboy/RGN trailer hauling heavy construction equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer.
• Plan routes considering height, weight, and bridge restrictions.
