Job summary

Heavy Haul, LLC is seeking an experienced Lowboy Driver to transport heavy equipment and machinery using lowboy or flatbed trailers. You will load, secure and unload cargo while complying with DOT regulations and company safety policies.

The role requires handling specialized trailers (sliding axles, extendable flatbeds, pintle loads) and offers compensation commensurate with experience. Local, regional and OTR options may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with lowboy trailers and safe handling.
• Knowledge of DOT loading/securement standards.
• Familiarity with multi-axle and specialized trailers.

Responsibilities

• Transport heavy equipment using lowboy or flatbed trailers.
• Load and unload equipment safely.
• Ensure loads are secured per DOT standards during transit.

Job description

Heavy Haul, LLC is looking for an experienced Lowboy Driver. This position will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment and machinery using a lowboy or flatbed trailer. The driver will be required to load and unload equipment and ensure that it is secured properly for transport via DOT standards. Able to use other specialized trailers such as sliding axels, extendable flatbeds, and pintle hook loads

Pay:

• OTR Drivers: Average $125,000–$150,000 per year


• Local and Regional Drivers: Average $80,000–$90,000 per year
