County Materials Family of Companies in Salem, IL is seeking a Heavy Haul/Girder Driver with a Class A CDL to deliver girders and related products to construction sites. You will perform DOT inspections, secure oversized or heavy loads, and ensure safe, timely transportation in outdoor environments.

The role requires strong CDL driving experience, load securement knowledge, safety awareness, and professional customer interaction, with occasional overnight travel as needed.

Qualificações

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL prior to hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience required.
• “T” Endorsement for doubles and triples preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interface with clients to provide excellent customer service.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections on all equipment.
• Properly secure loads following DOT regulations.
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations.
• Transport products while complying with DOT regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading girders.
• Maintain clean tractors and communicate with dispatchers.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE.
