We’re hiring a Heavy Haul/Girder Driver to join County Materials Family of Companies in Salem, IL.
As a Girder Driver, you will deliver girders and related products using a Class A CDL while ensuring safe, timely, and compliant transportation. This position involves operating tractor‑trailer combinations, performing DOT inspections, securing oversized or heavy loads, and transporting materials in compliance with federal, state, and local DOT regulations. The Girder Driver role requires strong CDL driving experience, attention to safety, load securement knowledge, and professional customer interaction in an outdoor, construction‑related environment.
