Job summary

Riggs CAT is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver responsible for operating trucks with capacity over 3 tons to transport materials between destinations. You will haul Class I to III materials, load/unload cargo securely, and perform pre-trip inspections on all truck equipment.

Candidates must have a CDL, a clear driving record, and be able to work with CAT equipment. Travel up to 100% and flexible scheduling are required aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL and clear driving record.
• Experience with heavy or oversized loads preferred.
• Ability to inspect and maintain truck components and log activities.

Responsibilities

• Haul Class I through Class III materials.
• Load and unload cargo ensuring security.
• Inspect tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
• Operate CAT equipment as required.
• Prepare receipts for load pickup and maintain logs.
• Coordinate with customers and vendors and follow directions.
