Zusammenfassung

Stepp's Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking experienced Heavy Haul Transport Drivers in the Tampa area. The role requires a Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience, a DOT Medical Card, TWIC, and HAZMAT endorsement within specified timeframes.

You will haul high, wide, and heavy loads using lowboy, Landoll, step-deck, flatbed trailers, and heavy-duty rollbacks. Manual transmissions only and candidates must bring their own tools once assigned to a truck.

Qualifikationen

• CDL required with verifiable experience (Class A)
• DOT Medical Card required
• TWIC Card required within 30 days of hire
• HAZMAT endorsement required within 90 days of hire
• Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
• Clean driving record for last 3 years
• Background check and drug test required
• Experience hauling heavy equipment
• Able to drive manual transmission trucks

Aufgaben

• Maneuver tractor and trailers into loading/unloading positions
• Pull trailers configured with tow bars or goosenecks as needed
• Load and unload trucks and operate loading equipment
• Secure equipment for transport with ropes, chains, binders, etc.
• Operate multi-axle trailers for heavy equipment transport
• Use GPS mapping effectively
• Work in all weather conditions
