Job summary

DBM Global is seeking an experienced shop technician to operate non-CNC fabrication equipment and assist with heavy-material handling in a union-like manufacturing setting. The role requires reading blueprints and shop drawings, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring a safe, organized work area.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 12 months of related experience or completed vocational training, with familiarity in overhead cranes and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Layout, read, interpret blueprints, shop drawings and other company documents.
• Operate non-CNC machinery and equipment according to requirements.
• Support HMO A’s and B’s with equipment and perform daily maintenance.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Layout, read, interpret blueprints and shop drawings.

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Transport material with crane as required and keep area clean.
