Job summary

DBM Global in Ottawa, KS seeks a skilled HMO-C Fabrication Operator to layout, read blueprints, and operate non-CNC machinery (Saw, Punch, Shear, Beam Splitter, Threader). You will lift and position material using cranes or magnets, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with vocational training as a substitute. Candidates should follow all PPE and safety rules while supporting other equipment use as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; vocational training may substitute for experience.
• Experience or training in operating non-CNC fabrication equipment like saws, punches, shears and threaders.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings; follow safety rules and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Layout, read, and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Operate non-CNC fabrication machinery per requirements.
• Load/unload material manually and with overhead crane or magnet.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Maintain clean work area and assist with equipment as needed.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
