Job summary

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of welding or fabrication experience or training with metallurgical knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings for fabrication tasks.
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance and basic automotive refinishing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, and maintain metal structures and equipment for construction and snow removal operations.
• Weld, disassemble/assemble, and repair machinery and fleet components as directed.
• Supervise others on welding duties and ensure safety standards are met.
• Operate heavy vehicles and fabrication tools and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
