Job summary

Clearwater Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Equipment & Heavy Truck Technician for our Mercer, Pennsylvania shop/yard to support growing operations in the region.

The role focuses on diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong repair background in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, with a willingness to work as part of a team and the ability to lift heavy objects

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with construction equipment and vehicles preferred; crane and drilling equipment experience a plus.
• Tier 4 emission experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lift 50+ lbs).
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repair skills.
• Positive can-do attitude and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
• Must supply own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose heavy equipment malfunctions and perform repairs to maximize uptime.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on construction equipment, vehicles, trailers and tools.
• Inspect equipment for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Document repairs for accurate work order history.
• Work safely and efficiently.
