Job summary
E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics on fleet trucks, trailers, and construction equipment. Work includes shop and field service, using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic software to service hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
The role requires 3–7 years of heavy equipment experience, strong safety focus, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in heavy equipment and fleet repair or equivalent technical training.
- Proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
- Skilled in using diagnostic equipment including OEM software and multimeters.
- Ability to read repair manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment, including brakes, hydraulic hoses, clutches, AC systems, alternators, and water pumps.
- Complete preventive maintenance (PM1-PM5) and inspections, documenting results in work orders.
- Use diagnostic tools such as Caterpillar ET, Snap-On, OEM software, and multimeters for troubleshooting.
- Service and repair loaders, skid steers, excavators, manlifts, and fleet trucks.
