Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience in a construction setting.
• Teaching or training experience in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, simulator-based, and hands-on instruction in heavy equipment operation.
• Develop lesson plans, outlines, syllabi, and instructional materials.
• Enforce OSHA standards and college safety policies.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate attendance, grades, and reports.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, tools, and training areas for safety.
• Manage inventory, submit supply requests, and secure equipment and materials.
• Maintain clean, organized classrooms, labs, and training grounds.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Perform required physical duties and other duties to support the College's mission.
