Job summary

South Georgia Technical College seeks an Adjunct Faculty – Heavy Equipment Operations to deliver instruction in hydraulics, maintenance, and safety. Qualifications

• Minimum five years of hands-on experience with varied heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, maintenance procedures, and safety standards.
• Ability to plan, organize, and deliver instruction in classroom and field environments.
• Experience using simulators or training technology is a plus.
• CDL preferred; prior teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction for Heavy Equipment Operations to SGTC students.
• Demonstrate classroom and field teaching with emphasis on hydraulics and safety.
• Assess student performance with grading procedures and records.
• Maintain equipment inventory and safety compliance.
• Support scheduling and adapt to enrollment needs.
