Heavy Equipment Technician / Mechanic (2nd Shift)

Join Foley Equipment as a Heavy Equipment Technician / Mechanic (2nd Shift).

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri.

Position Overview: Our Equipment Technician (2nd Shift) is responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing heavy machinery, including large and small earthmoving equipment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $58.82 (includes Shift Differential)
• Shift: Mon - Thurs, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM (4x10's)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on heavy machinery, diagnose issues, and make necessary repairs.
2. Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test and verify repairs.
3. Develop and maintain customer relationships.
4. Travel for training or to assist at other locations.

Ideal Candidate:

• Basic mechanical knowledge, including electrical and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with hand tools, air tools, and precision instruments.
• Ability to read and understand technical literature.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with diesel mechanics, especially CAT equipment.
• Stable work history.
• Ability to read technical documentation.
