Job summary

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri. The Equipment Technician role focuses on troubleshooting, servicing and repairing heavy machinery in the shop, including CAT earthmoving equipment.

Expect hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, parts handling and frequent travel for training or to support other sites. Ideal candidates have basic mechanical knowledge across electrical and hydraulics, basic hand tools, welding experience (MIG/Stick), and the ability to

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri.Our Equipment Technician is primarily responsible for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing heavy machinery in the shop. This includes large and small earthmoving equipment.Hourly Base Rate: $24.62 - $58.30 / hourWhat You Will Do in This Role:Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, make recommendations for repairs and perform critical repairs and adjustmentsRemove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervisionTest and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustmentsDevelop and maintain long-lasting working relationships with customersTravel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. Physical & Working RequirementsThis role involves hands-on mechanical work in a shop environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
