Job summary

Qualifications

Three years of experience servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles, gasoline and/or diesel engines, or heavy-duty construction equipment.
One year of the required experience must include servicing and repairing heavy duty construction equipment and diesel engines.
Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Substitution of additional documented and relevant experience for the required education, and accreditation substitutions for ASE certifications as described in notes.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment and assist in performing major repairs and overhauls on vehicles and heavy equipment, including diesel powered, electronic computerized, and fuel injected equipment.
