Job summary

Bulk Equipment Corp. in Fairfield, AL is seeking an Operating Technician to perform 24-hour mill maintenance and safe operation of refractory tearout equipment including LG, Gradall, and KT Grant machines.

You will troubleshoot at customer sites, perform inspections, complete work orders, and maintain equipment and safety compliance; overtime, nights, weekends may be required. Experience with heavy equipment hydraulics and diesel systems preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience operating Heavy Equipment.
• 1–3 years of mechanical experience with heavy equipment and hydraulics/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment at customer sites
• Perform routine inspections and services on equipment
• Safe operation of refractory Tearout equipment (LAG, Gradall, KT Grant machines)
• Complete pre-shift inspections and grease equipment
• Complete work orders in maintenance software
• Maintain customer satisfaction by addressing needs and time constraints
• Respond to service calls promptly
• Follow safety policies and PPE usage
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and participate in downtime tasks
• Assist with parts lists and communication with site management/purchasing
• Maintain certifications and licenses for equipment
• Keep company assets in working order
• Perform other related duties as assigned
