Job summary

MasterTech in Kilgore, TX is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy equipment in both shop and field service settings.

The role requires 3+ years of Diesel experience, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and the ability to read blueprints. Proficiency with diagnostic scanning tools is desired, and welding experience is preferred. A day shift from ~7 AM to 4 PM with overtime available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools.
• Welding experience is preferred.
• Experience with construction, earth moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc., equipment is preferred.

Job description

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Diesel Mechanics in the Kilgore TX area.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop and field service environment.

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $46.00/hour+ based on experience, training, certifications, etc.
• Comprehensive benefits plan. Company pays 100% of employee premiums. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, etc.

Shift:

• Day shift, roughly 7AM - 4PM, (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.

Key Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic scanning tools.
• Welding experience is preferred.
