Rose Paving LLC in Birmingham, AL is hiring a Site General Laborer to operate heavy equipment, perform grading, and assist with material handling on commercial projects. The role requires reading surveys and plans, maintaining safety, and supporting a team to meet daily targets.

The candidate should be able to use excavators, bulldozers and loaders, work extended hours as needed, and pass safety inspections while contributing to accurate, quality work on-site.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in safety operation of heavy civil equipment.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• OSHA 10 construction certification preferred.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a team.
• Able to interpret plans and layouts and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends or holidays as needed.

Mansioni

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, skid loaders, front-end loaders and other heavy equipment.
• Create level surfaces and grade slopes according to plans or surveyor guidance.
• Load/unload materials from trucks and move them on site with equipment.
• Inspect equipment daily and report any issues; maintain safety standards.
• Communicate with supervisor and team to ensure timely project completion.
• Follow SOPs and document work activities and reports.
