EquipmentShare in Forest Lake, MN is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) to maintain and repair a variety of heavy equipment and aerial lifts. You’ll use data-driven tools to diagnose issues, manage work orders, and parts, with opportunities for OEM training and career growth.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, potential overtime after 40 hours, and on-call compensation. A strong mechanical background and tools ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using our tech.
• Track machine service intervals and diagnose issues quickly.
• Order parts and document work performed (work orders) daily.
• Diagnose issues by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models.
• Assist in training of lower level technicians as needed.
