Jobot is seeking a skilled shop-based Heavy Equipment Technician for our Madison, WI branch. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment in a dedicated shop, using diagnostic software, service manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot and repair issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy construction equipment or diesel-powered machinery.
• Own professional-grade tools and toolbox required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Comfort using diagnostic software and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment in a shop setting.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, diesel engine, and electrical repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance and scheduled service inspections.
• Use diagnostic software and schematics to troubleshoot issues.
• Document work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
• Collaborate with service leadership and parts teams to complete repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Participate in training to stay current with equipment technology.
