Job summary

Altorfer Inc. is seeking a skilled service technician to perform repairs on Caterpillar and other heavy equipment. You will diagnose engine, electrical and hydraulic systems, working to provide excellent customer service in a shop setting.

The role requires formal technical training with at least three years of experience, strong time management and safety compliance. Overtime and weekend work may be required, with a robust benefits package and company support.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training completed with at least 3 years of experience.
• Must have engine, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic, troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Computer literate; familiar with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Follow safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the shop.
• Self-starter with good time management and strong planning skills.
• Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Caterpillar and other heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair engine, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Operate equipment safely to diagnose errors and determine solutions.
• Establish and maintain a service-oriented relationship with customers and supervisors.
• Complete service reports in a timely manner.
