Job summary

Altorfer Industries Inc. is seeking a skilled Technician to repair and service rental equipment and some customer-owned gear. You will work on brands such as CAT, Genie, Skyjack, JLG, Wacker, Polaris, Miller, and Sullair, ensuring high-quality maintenance and customer satisfaction.

Hours are 7:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays and overtime as needed. A valid driver's license and a strong mechanical background are required, with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training or 2+ years field experience.
• Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Computer literacy with MS Office tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on all equipment.
• Establish and maintain service-oriented relationships with customers.
• Pickup and delivery of equipment when necessary.
• Answer customer questions and provide accurate information.
• Complete service reports and related paperwork.
