Job summary

Fabick Cat, a Caterpillar equipment dealer, is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose repair needs and perform designated repairs on CAT machines. Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, along with preventive maintenance and minor diagnostic tasks.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience with heavy equipment, strong problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to read manuals and work orders.

Qualifications

• Two to five years' experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment, Caterpillar preferred.
• Experience diagnosing equipment using laptop computers, gauges, and instruments in all machine systems: electronics, hydraulics, power train, engines, and general machine performance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose construction equipment repair needs and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned machines as directed.
• Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Preventive maintenance and general machine upkeep.
