4Rivers Equipment LLC in Hobbs, NM is seeking a qualified Shop Service Technician/Mechanic for a full-time role. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy equipment and support engine rebuilds, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and component reconditioning.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Vocation or technical degree, or equivalent work experience or training.
• Strong communication skills and self-motivated spirit.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment.
• Engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valves and pump work, and transmission repairs.
• Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, assemble components or parts.
• Keep meticulous records of hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
• Mentor and guide other technicians and apprentices.
• Attend company-sponsored training to level up skills, knowledge, and expertise.
• Keep service trucks and company assets in top-notch shape.
• Always prioritize safety when using power tools, lifts, welders, or cranes.
