Job summary

Pape' Machinery, Inc. in Spokane, WA seeks a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to diagnose and repair construction and forestry equipment in our shop. You will work on John Deere and allied equipment, ensuring repairs are accurate and timely to maximize customer uptime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment
• Team-oriented with the ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to complete a diagnostic/repair training program
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all makes/models of construction and forestry equipment in the shop
• Repair, replace, or rebuild engines, transmissions, carburetors, final drives, steering, and hydraulic/electrical systems
• Assist with pre-delivery set-up and installation on John Deere equipment and allied products
• Support customers by maximizing uptime through accurate repairs and timely service
