Job summary

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. in Pasco, WA, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to diagnose and repair construction and forestry equipment in our shop. You’ll work on John Deere and allied products with a team of skilled mechanics and access to state-of-the-art resources.

Candidates should have 3+ years of field experience, own tools, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. We offer competitive pay range of $22.50 to $40.50 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and a clear path for career

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a team-oriented mindset.
• Must provide own tools and participate in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all makes/models of construction and forestry equipment in the shop.
• Repair, replace or rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Assist with pre-delivery setup and installation on John Deere equipment and allied products.
