Job summary

Cleland Site Prep is hiring a Shop Mechanic to inspect, diagnose and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers and pickups. The role requires using personal hand tools, maintaining safety standards and keeping precise maintenance records.

You will work in a dynamic field team with varied weather and shop conditions, lifting heavy parts and climbing onto equipment as needed. Experience minimum two years and ability to follow safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Must provide own hand tools.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair company equipment.
• Follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and climb onto equipment (3–4 ft).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction equipment with a primary focus on heavy duty trucks, trailers and pickup trucks.
• Order parts and supplies as needed for repairs to be performed.
• Maintain accurate records of time, parts, and materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Notify management of any company equipment or vehicles that are not serviceable.
