Job summary

Cleland Site Prep, a CRH Company, seeks a Shop Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment in the field and shop. The role requires adherence to safety rules and the ability to perform repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for sites across the Low Country region.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience, a valid driver's license and medical card, and be capable of handling tools and parts inventory while maintaining accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years prior experience.
• Must have valid Driver's License and Medical Card.
• Must operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair company equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment both in field and shop.
• Follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Order parts and supplies as needed for repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of time, parts, and materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and climb onto equipment.
