Job summary

Worldwide Machinery in Texas is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, emissions and hydraulic issues; perform scheduled maintenance; use computer diagnostic tools; look up and order parts; document all paperwork; respond to tasks from the Service / Fleet manager.

Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and be familiar with Caterpillar, Deere or OTR equipment; knowledge of T4/T4F emissions

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar, Deere, and OTR equipment preferred.
• Working knowledge of T4 and T4F emissions systems.
• Proficiency with OEM systems for parts lookup and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, emissions and hydraulic issues
• Perform scheduled maintenance as required
• Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufacturers
• Look up and order parts as needed
• Document and complete all paperwork as required
• All tasks assigned by Service / Fleet manager

Skills

Valid driver's license

Familiarity with Caterpillar/Deere/OTR

Emissions systems knowledge (T4/T4F)
