Job summary

Worldwide Machinery is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves repairing and maintaining earthmoving and pipeline equipment at job sites, yards, and shops. Prior experience with Caterpillar and John Deere equipment is preferred, along with CDL and the ability to work independently in field and shop environments.

Hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 am - 5:30 pm with possible extended hours. Pay ranges from $28 to $45 per hour based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• CDL license is required.
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar and John Deere equipment; OTR exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems.
• Experience with OEM parts lookup and ordering systems.
• Ability to work independently in field and shop environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufactures.
• Identify, research and order parts as needed.
• Complete service reports and required machine documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by service or fleet managers.

Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Hours: Mon- Fri, 7:00 am -5:30 pm, possible extended hours

Pay: $28 - $45 an hour, based on skills and experience

Summary:

The ideal Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of earthmoving and pipeline equipment at job sites, yard, and shop. Experience with Caterpillar, Joen Deer, Bell, etc. is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance

• Complete service reports, work orders, and required machine documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by service or fleet managers

Required skills:

• Valid CDL driver's license
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment
• Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere and OTR equipment is preferred
• Working knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems
