Job summary

Waukesha Pearce Industries, LLC is seeking a Service Technician – Class B to perform maintenance, repair, and service on heavy equipment with minimal supervision. The role covers fluid checks, engine tuning, diagnostics, and driveline work, focusing on safe, proficient workmanship.

You will troubleshoot malfunctions, service tandem axles, hydrostatic drives, and track systems, using diagnostic tools and welding equipment. Some weekend work and lifting up to 50 lbs required.

Qualifications

• May have a High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in construction/mining machinery maintenance.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics; interpret diagrams.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance checks and adjustments on heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and complete service and repairs.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain drivetrains, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Tune engines, service valves, fuel filters, and injectors; pressure checks.
• Disassemble/reassemble units; inspect and replace parts as needed.
• Ensure safe, proficient workmanship and clean the workspace after jobs.
