Job summary

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction and mining machinery industry.
Must read manuals and schematics; able to rebuild engines and major driveline components.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work independently.
Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Diagnoses, services and repairs systems on heavy equipment including mechanical and electronic controls.
Troubleshoots malfunctions and performs required repairs.
Repairs track components, hydraulics, brakes, and drive systems as directed.
Maintains engines, fuel systems, and associated turbochargers; performs pressure checks.
Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles units across cooling, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Overhauls engines and related driveline components when needed.
Keeps tools and work area clean; may assist in training less experienced workers.
