Job summary

Gulf Coast JCB in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Service Advisor to be the primary customer contact for service inquiries and to coordinate shop and field work. You will communicate repair progress and estimates, support warranty processes, and help the Parts Department ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in heavy equipment service, strong customer service and organizational skills, and a solid computer/office software background.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in heavy equipment/service operations.
• CDK service platforms experience preferred.
• Associates degree or technical training preferred.
• Strong computer skills; MS Office and dealership management systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary customer contact for service inquiries.
• Open, maintain, and close service work orders.
• Communicate repair status, estimates, approvals to customers.
• Coordinate and schedule shop and field service work.
• Assist with warranty administration and claims.
• Support billing accuracy and timely invoicing.
• Maintain service records per company procedures.
• Promote preventative maintenance programs.
