Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
• Technical, vocational or trade school training is preferred.
• 2-5 years of proven experience with heavy equipment and aerial equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostic skills.
• MSHA certification or ability to obtain MSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shop maintenance and repair of Cat equipment and aerial equipment in the shop facility.
• Test and calibrate engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and components.
• Quality inspections ensuring manufacturer standards and customer expectations.
• Stay updated on Cat equipment advancements, service bulletins, and manuals.
• Occasional travel and overtime may be required based on business needs.
