Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a Heavy Equipment Processor with a valid Class A CDL at our processing center in Decatur, IL. You will load and unload equipment, operate lift trucks and cranes, and ensure paperwork accuracy during shipping and receiving operations.

This role requires CDL A, one year of tractor-trailer driving experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working outdoors in all weather. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany a stable, safety-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• One year of Class A tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Current valid CDL A with good driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping/receiving function.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions.

• Must have a current and valid CDL A to drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution.

Hourly range $26-$29/Hr depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard
• Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional shop/yard environment. Frequent exposure to the elements (such as dust, dirt, rain,) and chemicals (such as fumes and fluids) occur during operation of construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, welding, painting, etc.
