Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Heavy Equipment - PM Maintenance Technician in Fresno to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on diesel and non-diesel vehicles and equipment. You will inspect equipment, maintain fluids, and ensure safety standards are met as part of daily PM tasks.

The role requires basic computer skills (MS Excel) and a Mechanical Trade School certificate or degree. OSHA regulations knowledge is essential, with potential training through company programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technician role with OSHA Haz Com, Lock Out Tag Out and OSHA Fire Protection.
• Basic computer skills demonstrated by knowledge of MS Excel and word processing.
• Mechanical Trade School certificate or degree completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, diesel and gasoline vehicles and equipment.
• Inspects trucks and heavy equipment for condition, operation and fluid levels.
• Documents parts usage and times on work orders and records in Dossier.
• Follows safety policies and performs other duties as assigned.
