Job summary

Alter Trading Corp in Columbus, NE is seeking a Full Time Production worker to operate heavy equipment and assist in yard material handling. You will unload trucks and rail cars, sort materials, and ensure loads meet yard standards.

The role requires operating heavy machinery, basic maintenance tasks, and lifting up to 100+ lbs with assistance. Training is provided; safety PPE is mandatory at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience operating heavy machinery and driving a semi-tractor/trailer preferred but not required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handler and heavy equipment (wheel loader, crane-like machinery).
• Unloads and loads trucks, semis, and rail cars with material; sorts material in yard.
