Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with two (2) years of heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state commercial driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, assigns, reviews work and schedules; maintains standards; monitors progress; inspects completed work; provides direction as needed.
• Operates and maintains heavy equipment, including roll-off, refuse, boom, box, vacuum trucks, street sweeper, dump trucks, and centrifuge systems.
• Inspects equipment before use and at job sites to identify repairs; performs minor repairs as needed.
• Loads sludge, transports heavy equipment, and performs related duties as assigned.
• Completes route sheets, daily reports, work orders and maintains paperwork.
• Ensures proper maintenance and safety practices; responds to customer inquiries and handles complaints to supervisor.
