Job summary

Asplundh Careers is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to operate heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines. You will transport gear to multiple locations and perform site tasks such as installing gates, removing culverts, and applying herbicides as needed.

The role requires working around hazardous equipment and adhering to safety guidelines. A High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver License Required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences and culverts when needed.
• Cut brush and remove debris; feed into wood chipper where applicable.
• Apply herbicides to right-of-way following safety procedures.
• Maintain and service equipment to ensure safe operation.
