Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment for removing branches and tree material from electrical lines. The role involves transporting equipment, installing gates, and performing vegetation management along rights-of-way, with a focus on safety around hazardous electrical environments.

Minimum qualifications include 18+ years of age, ability to identify tree species, and familiarity with electrical hazards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possesses working knowledge and be able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Excavators, Loaders and Dump Trucks.
• Provides transport of equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Installs and removes gates, fences, and culverts.
• Mows, grinds and trims vegetation along rights-of-way.
• Uses chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps.
