Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to operate heavy equipment and remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. You will transport equipment between multi-state job locations and perform vehicle and equipment care to ensure safe, efficient work.

The role requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and to follow safety protocols. A valid driver’s license is required; CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transports equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Installs and removes gates, fences, and barriers.
• Maintains and services trucks, chippers, and equipment to keep them in good mechanical order.
