Distinctive Tree Care LLC seeks an Equipment Operator to run heavy machinery for tree removal, stump grinding, and land clearing. You will ensure safe operation, support with various equipment, and work with ground crews to meet job plans and safety standards.

Applicants should have 2+ years operating heavy equipment, especially skid steers, and be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather. CDL is preferred but not required; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in tree services or land clearing.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for operating machinery in hazardous environments.
• Ability to read and understand job site plans and communicate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, skid steers, cranes, and loaders to support tree removal and land clearing.
• Maneuver machinery safely in tight or challenging environments.
• Assist crews with lifting, hauling, and positioning heavy logs and debris.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and report issues.
• Follow safety regulations and environmental guidelines to prevent accidents.
