Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc in Londonderry, NH is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Driller Trainee to join our field team. You will learn to operate backhoe, skid steer, excavators, loaders and progressively train as a driller.

Qualifications

• Equipment operating experience is helpful.
• Valid Driver's License with own transportation.
• Experience as construction laborer.
• Must have common sense regarding equipment and machinery operation.
• Mechanical aptitude around equipment, motors, hydraulics, electrical systems.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must complete ATF background screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as instructed by Supervisors/Foreman.
• Maintain safety and work well in varying weather.
• Travel out of town and work overtime as required.
• Perform daily maintenance for safe operation of equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Learn drill patterns and execute as directed by the Blaster Foreman.
