Job summary

Harsco Environmental in Texas is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support our steel and metals recovery operations. You will operate trucks, cranes, loaders and perform routine inspections to keep equipment in safe, productive condition.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of operator experience. Strong safety mindset, good communication, and teamwork are essential in our outdoor plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience as an equipment operator.
• Ability to perform manual outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and reading operating instructions.
• Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (truck, crane, loader) at the plant as required.
• Perform routine mobile equipment pre-start and post-inspections; record on inspection sheets.
• Follow all plant safety guidelines for safe operation of heavy equipment.
