Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible work experience in maintenance and construction work, including at least two years operating medium equipment.
• OR one year of experience as a Medium Equipment Operator and certification as a Heavy Equipment Operator by the Washoe County Roads & Stormwater Superintendent.
• An equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment used in the construction and maintenance of Washoe County roads and facilities.
• Perform work outdoors in various weather conditions, including snow removal operations.
• Maintain safe work practices and communicate effectively with team members and the public.
