Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid North Dakota Class A driver license without air brake restrictions and cargo tank endorsement (N) by first day of work.
• Two years of relevant experience or one year of experience and one season of winter operations in a similar role.
• Equipment Operator I requires a valid North Dakota Class B driver license without air brake restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to perform maintenance duties including snow and ice control/removal, install/repair/maintain highway signs and guardrails, and keep roadways clear of hazards and debris.
• Perform building and ground maintenance, maintain roadway and radio system equipment, and perform minor preventive/repair maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain required paperwork such as time records, activity reports, daily diaries, and road reports; participate in construction project duties under supervision.
