JOB SUMMARY: The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various equipment, completing related assignments with precision and efficiency, and ensuring the proper care and use of maintenance equipment.

• Ability to read and comprehend AWM for various equipment

• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid applicable CDL with air brake endorsement and clean driving record required

• Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or be willing to obtain one

• Ability to operate a skid steer and other small equipment

• Experience operating heavy equipment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 100 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time

• Ability to work outside of normal work schedule

• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
