Job summary

SA Recycling in East Point, GA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Materials Operator to safely sort, load and move scrap metal outdoors using equipment such as Sennebogen and Doosan excavators. You will perform daily inspections, verify loads, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, and prior crane experience is valued. Weekly pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical required.
• Experience operating Caterpillar, Sennebogen excavators, and grapples.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
• Willingness to learn new tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sort and prepare scrap metal and debris for processing.
• Operate heavy machinery to lift, sort, load or unload.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report defects.
• Verify load weights against lifting capacities.
• Maintain safety, health and environmental standards.
• Provide a safe environment for all employees, customers, visitors.
